Step 1: Log in to the Absher Portal
- Log in to the Absher portal using your mobile phone at this URL (https://www.absher.sa)
- Click on the “Individual” option from the menu
- Here, you will see two boxes, enter your Iqama number and password in them
- Lastly, after filling in the captcha code, press the “Login” button
- If you have received an OTP (Time Password), enter the code in the box and complete the login
Step 2: Check Work Permit (Maktab Amal) Fees
- After logging in, go to the “E-Services” section
- Select the option “Ministry of Human Resources & Social Development“
- Here you will get the option of “Work Permit Inquiry” or “خدمة رقصة العمل“, click on it
- Enter your Iqama Number or Border Number
- After filling in the Captcha code, press the “Search” or “بحث” button
The payment status is “تم السداد,” which means that your fees have already been paid. If the payment status is “قيد السداد,” it means that the fees are still due and you must pay them.
Also If the payment status is “منتھي الصلاحیة,” it means that your work permit has expired. If the fees are due, you will receive a SADAD number, which is required for payment.

To pay Maktab Amal fees, you can use the online banking service of any Saudi bank. Here, I am explaining the method of Al Rajhi Bank and NCB Bank, after which you will be able to pay your Maktab Amal Fees Online.
Pay Maktab Amal Fees with Al Rajhi Bank
- If you do not have the Al Rajhi Bank mobile app, download it from the Play Store or App Store.
- Log in to your Al Rajhi Bank online banking account by entering your user password.
- Select the Government Payments option from the app’s main menu and then select Alien Control.

After completing any bank or offline payment, go to the Absher portal or Ministry of Labor website and reopen the “Work Permit Inquiry” section. Enter your Iqama number and check the status of your payment. If the status shows “تم السداد”, it means the fee has been paid successfully. If the payment status is “منتھي الصلاحیة,” it means that your work permit has expired.
